Frida En Rojo (Uno Al Doce) is a striking spray paint portrait of the legendary Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, created in a bold red, white, and black tri-tone color scheme. The piece was made using hand-cut stencils crafted from the original mixed media artwork Mille (Noche de Fridas 1k), which served as the foundation for this edition.
In 2018, Markham used the original to create 12 unique prints for the Night of 1,000 Fridas global tribute event organized by Theodore Carter in 2019. This series blends traditional portraiture with street art aesthetics to honor Frida's iconic legacy. Each print is a hand-signed and numbered piece, offering a modern reinterpretation of Frida's powerful presence and artistic impact.
